What to expect at a SCOT film event …
Our mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ was designed for the accompaniment of silent films in cinemas. Therefore, we take great pride in hosting silent film events which showcase the instrument doing what it does best. Not to blow our own trumpet, but we think these events are truly magical and probably the closest you’ll ever get to experiencing time travel; it’s complete escapism. Every silent film event takes advantage of our large projector and screen, and is accompanied LIVE on the Wurlitzer organ by a masterful musician who will make you forget that you’re even listening to a pipe organ in the first place – you really do get lost in the film!
Doors open 30 minutes before the listed start time for each event. Ticket types and prices vary, so please check out each individual listing. All films are suitable for all ages (unless stated otherwise), though parental guidance is always advised.
